On the last day of November I accomplished my NaNoWriMo objective for the second year in a row. I wrote over 50,000 words of a novel in 30 days, along with several thousand other National Novel Writing Month participants.
I have more writing to do to complete the story in first draft form. I imagine it will take at least another 25-30,000 words to do it justice. At this point, I know a great deal about the ending but until I actually write it, I won’t know for sure how it all comes together.
I’d like to complete the first draft by the end of December so I can get into the editing process in January. Very exciting, this novel writing business. I’m looking forward to getting this one finished and polished for publishing.

Congratulations on such an accomplishment. I’ve self-published three non-fiction books, and they have had a decent success, I believe. I have a novel I’ve been kicking around, but it seems like such a gigantic job. How in the world did you do that in 30 days. I admire you and all the others who have done so.
I wish you every continuing success.
Blessings and joy!
